Kiersten began her legal journey at the Gasper Law Group, transitioning from a criminal law legal assistant to a family law paralegal. In 2022, she joined Gendelman Klimas Edwards, Ltd., where she developed her passion for client-centered advocacy and collaborative legal work. After stepping away in 2023 to welcome twins and complete her bachelor's degree, Kiersten returned to GKE in 2025, drawn back by the firm's supportive, values-driven environment. For her, GKE represents not just a workplace, but a community that aligns with her personal and professional ideals.

Advocacy Rooted in Empathy and Insight

Now preparing for law school and actively studying for the LSAT, Kiersten brings a deep commitment to her paralegal role. She is especially passionate about helping clients navigate emotionally complex legal matters, such as custody, adoption, divorce, and name changes, with clarity and compassion. Her goal is always to educate, support, and empower clients through unfamiliar legal terrain.

Collaborative, Client-Centered Support

Kiersten's approach to casework reflects her preference for Alternative Dispute Resolution and her belief in the power of empathy. Working closely with attorneys, she helps cultivate cooperative solutions wherever possible, particularly in co-parenting cases. When collaboration isn't an option, Kiersten supports a firm and strategic approach to protect her clients' interests.

Beyond the Office: Advocacy and Balance

Outside of work, Kiersten is training for a half-marathon, enjoying time with her family in Colorado's outdoors, gardening, reading, and volunteering. Her advocacy extends into the community through her support of domestic violence survivors, immigrant rights, and equity initiatives, causes that mirror the care and dedication she brings to her legal work.
